Apologies for the spiky wording of this post; I’m still reeling from something I heard from a client today.
They chose to apply directly to a lender, who, upon offering them a very average deal, insisted that he ask for written permission from them every time he wanted to borrow again.
Of course, we tried explaining how this could be damaging in the long run. Still, it reminded me of a similar Director who, despite our advice, continued to supply the big construction giant Carillon – just before they went bust and took countless companies with it.
The only reason this all irritates me so much is that I genuinely care about YOU and the long-term success of your business.
Now, just like us brokers, finance companies are gearing up for their busiest time of the year right now, and one of the biggest lenders have just announced an incredible offer:
Loans of up to £500k, at 1.9% in just five days.
Sounds good, right? But, rates like this are rarer than unicorn s***.
The 1.9% rates are attractive, and they’ll receive an influx of applicants, allowing them to pick and choose the best – while being less competitive for everyone else.
Which, just like the Lottery, is great for those who have the winning ticket, but what about everyone else?
Wouldn’t it be better if you were treated like a VIP from the start? With the best service and access to the best deals from the word go?
Be treated like a VIP.
Just like the best clubs, a good broker has VIP access. You won’t need to wait out in the cold; we get your application straight in the door and before senior management – briefing them on all the issues without wasting anyone’s time.
Which can make the difference between paying 9% when you apply directly vs 4.5% through a broker.
And best of all – our chances of success are far greater than if you apply directly – three times greater.
Our success rate sits at around 84% because our lenders look at their best introducers (us brokers) just like you look after your best clients – and give them preferential rates and treatment.
So the moral of the story? If you don’t want to be left out in the cold and realise unicorns don’t exist – pick up the phone and tell me what finance you need.
You are always welcome to call me direct on my mobile: 07710466166.
Best wishes,
